Designed to secure all types of ice axes including the most technical ones, the Hydra Leash quickly clips on thanks to two carabiners with wide open gates. They quickly attach to the harness with a simple lark's head knot and avoids any loss of tools.

Their 360-degree ball-and-socket swivel and strap length allow the ice axes to be freely manipulated without the risk of entanglement. At just 54g, this is the lightest leash system on the market.

Can't beat'em!

I have gone through several leashes. They all seem to have their good and bad points.ie the clips pop out (open up), are heavy or just don't operate smoothly. These are very light weight and have strong clip ins. I have never had the issues I've had with the other leashes. Bottom line, I am very happy with these leashes and as far as I am concerned they are the best leashes on the market.
