Description

The lightest weight steel screw on the market with an innovative 3-tooth tip design and largest diameter ideal for ice climbing and technical mountaineering.

The Aero is innovative thanks to its 3-tooth tip design which gives the best quick and easy screwing. Its thin wall design reduces the weight considerably, the steel tip and tube maintain high durability of the threads.

Its largest diameter body allows to use securely existing holes when there is no other option. Colors-coding easily indicates the length of the screw. Its features and design make it the ideal ice screw for the most technical routes where performance, durability and lightness are key.

Best ice screws on the market

As light as the competition’s aluminum screws but with steel performance, incredibly easy to start also. When you need a screw quickly seeing a blue ice on the harness is a sigh of relief.

Best screws on the market

My ice rack has become the envy of many of my friends. At similar (if not less) weight than comparable length aluminum screws the choice in which screws to buy is wildly easy in my humble opinion. On top of being ridiculously lightweight for a steel screw they place like butter in all the ice I've used them in. After using one of my Aero screws in Hyalite my buddy sold his whole screw rack and replaced it with Blue ice.

Old climber, amazing new screws!

I have been waterfall climbing in the Canadian Rockies since 1983 / the transformation over the decades from straight shaft tools and using screwdrivers and ratchets to place screws defies description-AND- the Blue Ice Aero screws are the biggest transformation.
So easy to place, that even awkward pumped out stances mean no more than 45 seconds to place and clip a solid and light screw!
They are incredible/ I just ordered a second batch of them and they will be with me on Cholatse this Fall!
Outstanding!

Absolutely the best Ice screws around.

I've been using these ice screws now for over a year. Having experience with BD and Grivel, these Blue Ice ones are simply the best. Easy to rack on your harness, light, and having the larger diameter makes them advantages when having to use a previous screw hole. Like new sharp even after using them for a year.

Awesome screws, Fast Shipping

Awesome screws, nice to have the wider bore diameter and lighter weight. Been out a couple times with them and have no complaints. Blue Ice was very quick with their shipping and order processing too. Would highly recommend!
