The Aero is innovative thanks to its 3-tooth tip design which gives the best quick and easy screwing. Its thin wall design reduces the weight considerably, the steel tip and tube maintain high durability of the threads.
Its largest diameter body allows to use previously existing holes when there is no other option. Colors-coding easily indicates the length of the screw. Its features and design make it the ideal ice screw for the most technical routes where performance, durability and lightness are key.

Over 20 years I’ve used screws from BD, Petzl, CAMP, and Blue Ice. These are far and above the best screws I’ve ever used.

Great
These are by far the best ice screws I've ever owned. I've been ice climbing for thirty years, I've used every major brand, and these screws set a new standard in the ease in which they can be placed. Excellent! Every ice climber should own at least one set.
Once you use the Areo's, you'll never use anything else! They cut through ice like butter. The steel screws are the lightest on the market. Not sure how Blue Ice does it but ice cores just falls out for easy cleaning. The only note is that 10cm/red isn't rated for leading. Get the Areo's, you'll thank me later!
