Le Choucas Pro est un modèle minimaliste et épuré, idéal pour les courses les plus engagées et l'alpinisme technique. Il dispose de quatre porte-matériel, de deux porte-broche, d'une boucle rapide d'ajustement à la taille et d'un pontet renforcé qui lui confèrent une extrême polyvalence et technicité.

Son système d'ouverture des cuisses breveté permet de l’enfiler rapidement crampons ou skis aux pieds, pour s'équiper en toute sécurité.

Love it!

This has replaced my BD Couloir as my go to mountaineering harness. I have even worn it in the climbing gym a couple of times when I forgot my 'regular' rock climbing harness and it's surprisingly comfortable when lowering and belaying.

Much preferable to typical mountaineering harnesses

I bought this to use for alpine and glacier travel and I couldn't ask for a more comfortable harness in that respect. Being fashioned like a traditional rock harness with a belay loop and two hard points but having quick release leg loops makes it the best of both worlds. That being said I am not sure how much I would like to hang in it, we will see next ice season.

Beyond my best expectations.

Even lighter than anticipated without sacrificing features needed on a mountaineering harness. Big gear loops and well thought out ice clipper locations.

Perfect harness for alpine and travel

I got this harness for mt rainier and I think it will serve my purpose well! Lightweight, it hardly feels like anything! I have other diaper style harnesses like the petzl tour and petzl fly, but it's nice to be able to have a tie in points I'm familiar with. It's also great for travel because of it's weight. Because it packs so small, I never hesitate to bring the choucas pro whenever I travel.
