Perfect Cragging Pack

Took this pack to the desert. It easily fit a 70m rope (in a rope bag), 4 sets of cams (including a few BD #5s and #6s), and all my personal stuff (harness, helmet, food, water, etc). The well designed waist belt and should straps made that load carry surprisingly comfortably. A couple of key organizational pockets and rugged material add to the radness.

Great pack - now make a women's specific version

I was so excited to see that they finally offered this pack in two torso sizes. Unfortunately, it didn't quite fit me (I'm female 5'5", about 135#). I have broad shoulders but the shoulder straps were still spaced too widely and were actually pushing against my arms. The pack didn't sit as comfortably on the hips either and wasn't flush against my back. I noticed that the hip belt and shoulder straps are a bit stiff so maybe they would break in and soften up a little after some use. I will probably go with the Mammut Neon 55 Women's pack since that fit more comfortably from the get go.

Otherwise the pack has great features. It seems to be one of the few crag packs with external pockets and those are plenty big enough for a guide book or large Nalgene bottle. I packed a full kit for trad (60m rope, double rack, alpine draws, shoes, helmet, puffy, other layers, etc.) and it's got plenty of room--basically a more ergonomic haul bag.
