Dragonfly 25L

Nice lightweight pack. Simple design, yet great functionality and versatility.

Would love to see the elastic side pockets as compression straps rather, and the fact that this does not come standard with a helmet holder is a little misleading. Should be sold together or assumed as part of your backpack purchase.

This pack is nice and lightweight, and can be made ever more lightweight by taking things out. It seems like it can store way more than 25L by overstuffing the top. We like the small zipped pocket on the outside more than the new version which has it closer to your back since it can be accessed by a friend.

Dragonfly 25L Pack

This is my first experience with Blue Ice and it has been very positive. I was on a hiking trip in the Colorado Rockies and needed a new daypack. Blue Ice practically overnighted this pack to me at no additional cost. I’ve now used it on 8 hikes ranging from a couple hours to most of a day. The pack is functioning flawlessly. Carrying light loads like emergency kit, trail food, wind shell and 1 bottle of water is effortless. The pack hugs your back and the weight doesn’t shift. You hardly feel it. Heavier loads-add a 2nd water bottle, fleece, rain jacket and more food and you feel the load on shoulders and across chest at sternum strap. Not terrible but certainly noticeable. Another plus of the design is that when the pack is not very full the top just folds down and rests inside. When you stuff it to capacity the sides go up and holds the larger load. All in all the extremely light weight, flexibility and de-contented design work great. Highly recommend the Dragonfly 25 and terrific customer service from Blue Ice.
